Piling and Pile Testing

Pile design and construction have become routine in today’s construction industry. For most piling projects there are few opportunities to add value, and the project typically goes to the lowest bidder. At the more challenging sites however, a design-build approach, particularly in combination with specialized testing, has the potential to add significant value to the overall project with costs savings to, or enhanced performance of the substructure components. GAIA, in association with Golder and specialized subcontractors, is able to design and construct a variety of piling techniques as well as undertake full-scale load tests such as Osterberg Cell and Statnamic testing, allowing the selection of the most appropriate construction technique and/or design parameters for the problem at hand.
